The term MindSonar® uses sonar technology as an analogy. Sonar shows us objects that we cannot see by looking at the surface of the water, and it takes an expert to understand the exact nature of these objects.

Conflict is quite common in organisations and arises from incompatible goals, thoughts and feelings within an individual or between members of a group or organisation. Role conflict occurs when an individual is under intense pressure due to a mismatch of tasks or expectations.

However, performance appraisal is more specifically related to the achievement of results, i.e. organisational objectives, effective communication, performance of work tasks, organisational skills, decision-making, planning and organisation of work, problem solving, productivity and accountability.
